More about the exhibition:
For the past 16 years, the Vladimir Potanin Foundation has worked with individuals and communities across Russia to expand the social impact of private philanthropy. The exhibition tells this story through photographs never before exhibited outside Russia.
The eclectic nature of the photographs take you on a journey into the diverse world of Russian philanthropy. As you visit the exhibition you will encounter a wide range of projects, from student initiatives, through interactive science, to a folk museum that brings alive the dynamic history of a small Russian town. Each of these projects is unique, and yet running through all of them is a shared desire to open minds in order to foster a better future for communities, regions, and Russia as a whole.
The vibrant individuals behind these success stories demonstrate the potential power of creative leadership. With grants from the Vladimir Potanin foundation, their ideas and ambitions have been realised. As a consequence, grantees have become role models for their own communities, able to ignite enthusiasm for learning amongst the old and young and foster a brighter future for all. The Vladimir Potanin foundation’s investment in youth demonstrates that the foundation’s strong leadership and faith in new ideas has effectively constructed a network of opportunity across Russia. When experienced leaders invest in leaders of the future, the outcomes of collaboration are endlessly exciting.
