Vladimir Potanin will increase funds for philanthropic programs

He talked about this with the TASS correspondent Andrey Vandenko during the interview 6 July 2015: ‘The volume of my charity support is increasing. From this year on, the budget for my charitable activities, including my Foundation equals 1 billion rubles and it will increase in the years to come.’

For the last two years the Foundation’s programs have been significantly modified: in 2013 the Vladimir Potanin Fellowship program was refocused on master’s degree students and professors. In autumn 2014 the Foundation introduced a new museum strategy. This change was positively accepted by the community.

General Director Oksana Oracheva: 'I am very pleased that the results of our work were highly appreciated by the founder. The budget increase will multiply those positive social changes that embrace the area of culture and education due to activities of our grantees and fellows. This is good news as well as a high responsibility. I am confident the Foundation will manage this.'
