‘Fostering Leadership’ Exhibition Opening at the National Library of Luxembourg

28 September, Luxembourg. ‘Fostering Leadership’ Exhibition Opening at the National Library of Luxembourg.

The exhibition curated by the Vladimir Potanin Foundation is devoted to achievements of the Foundation’s grantees. The photo stories show how an individual can impact the life of a whole community and change it for the better. The visitors can witness how two grantees have managed to turn a grey suburban town into a popular tourist destination, building a museum quarter from scratch, how students have developed fascinating lectures on science which are now part of the school curriculum, or how the oldest botanical garden in Siberia has been revived with funds from a university endowment.

The opening of the exhibition in Luxembourg will be accompanied by a lecture New Realism in Contemporary Russian Literature and the Decline of Liberal Ideasgiven by a famous Russian writer Andrey Gerasimov.

The pictures were first presented to a wider public at the Philanthropy House in Brussels in May 2015. The Luxembourg edition of ‘Fostering Leadership’ is arranged by the Russian Centre for Science and Culture. Admission is free.
